Over the past few years, Rhythms Coffee TV (RCTV) has steadily grown into a unique local media platform based in Olympia, Washington.
What started as simple livestreams and community event coverage has expanded into an ongoing project focused on documenting local music, artists, performances, and creative culture throughout the South Sound region.
Today, RCTV features live music performances, open mic nights, artist showcases, livestream productions, community events, and local creative storytelling.
With hundreds of uploaded videos and recurring programming, the channel has become an evolving archive of Olympia’s independent arts and music scene.
One of the most exciting parts of the project has been the consistency of production and community involvement. Each livestream or recorded performance requires work behind the scenes involving cameras, audio production, lighting, editing, livestream systems, and social media publishing.
The project regularly collaborates with local musicians, artists, event organizers, community groups, and independent creators throughout Thurston County.
By consistently documenting local performances and creative events, RCTV is helping preserve and share Olympia’s creative culture with a wider audience.
As the project continues growing, future goals include expanding recurring programming, improving production quality, featuring more local artists, and continuing to build a community-centered media platform for Olympia.
At its core, Rhythms Coffee TV is about supporting local creativity, authentic storytelling, and real community connection.
